Alongside Can's "Monster Movie", "Phallus Dei" (literally meaning "God's Penis") is considered to be the first krautrock album. Debates aside, this record is fantastic. Amon Düül II began as an art collective simply called Amon Düül. Amon Düül II was formed by the more musically proficient members of the original collective, who frequently clashed with the other members who didn't stress musicianship so much as they did simply making art.

Kanaan 4:03
Dem Guten, Schönen, Wahren 6:11
Luzifers Ghilom 8:34
Henriette Krötenschwanz 2:03
Phallus Dei 20:45

Bonus re-release tracks:
Freak Out Requiem I 7:53
Freak Out Requiem II 0:44
Freak Out Requiem III 7:49
Cymbals in the End 0:34
